RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate announced today it joined forces with a regional property management firm, Jackson Hole Retreats, owned by Lanette Singleton and Ryan Wright. The expansion of RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate, a member of the RE/MAX International Network, also includes a remodel of its new downtown office location at 110 E. Broadway, just off southeast corner of the Town Square.
Scott Singleton, husband of Lanette and former Jackson Hole Realty partner, and his business partner David Yoder, a local business owner and past president of the Chamber of Commerce, also joined the RE/MAX Obsidian sales roster, adding more than three decades of regional real estate between the two associates.
The addition of the Singletons, Yoder and Wright brings the RE/MAX Obsidian roster to 21, making it the 3rd largest real estate brokerage in the region. Brett McPeak, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate, said part of the company’s success during challenging economic times as been a focus on the local market and offering community-minded services like first-time homebuyer workshops and classes to help coach distressed homeowners on short sales and other options other than foreclosure.
“We’re excited with the new blood, the new digs and the new service,” said Brett McPeak, Broker/Owner of RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate. “Scott and David greatly enhance RE/MAX Obsidian’s overall sophistication and professionalism, and Lanette and Ryan allow us to complement our sales brokerage with a property management division and better serve our customer and clients.”
RE/MAX Obsidian worked with local design firm WRJ Design Associates on its new location at 110 E. Broadway, and features prominent art on loan from Altamira Fine Art. The redesign of the physical office space, which has been a flagship real estate office in Jackson Hole for more than three decades, was unveiled last week at a grand opening celebration.
“We are all very excited about joining this vibrant and promising young company. There is so much positive energy around here that you can’t help but to be caught up in it,” said Scott Singleton. He cited RE/MAX Obsidian’s reliance on technology, its commitment to the community (RE/MAX Obsidian is the first and only brokerage member of 1% for the Tetons), and its access to the RE/MAX international network as motivating factors behind his decision.
